Senior Pastor Roger Lee Woodcock, Jr

Rev. Lee Woodcock has served as our Senior Pastor since November 2018. He is committed to the faithful preaching and teaching of God’s Word chapter by chapter and verse by verse, while shepherding God’s people with warmth, humility, and compassion. His desire in ministry is to see the Spirit of God use the Word of God to make the people of God more like the Son of God.

Pastor Lee has been joyfully married to his best friend, Taran since 2004. Together, the Lord has blessed them with four children: Laine, Noah, Gibbs, and Theophilus. His love for Christ, his family, and the local church deeply shapes both his life and ministry. He enjoys coffee, cheesecake, reading, birds, and visiting with church members.

In addition to his pastoral ministry, Pastor Lee is actively involved in the Prince George community. He serves as FCA chaplain and character coach for the Prince George boys varsity basketball and volleyball teams and also serves as chaplain for Hopewell Fire & EMS. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Pastor Lee earned a Master of Arts in Discipleship and Church Ministry from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and a Master of Divinity in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Counseling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He and his family are grateful to call this community home, and he considers it a great privilege to walk alongside individuals and families through both the joys and hardships of life. His favorite verse is Psalm 16:11: “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
